Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book published in the saga of Harry Potter. It was published by Bloomsbury in July 2005 under the name of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

With sixteen years old, Harry begins the sixth year at Hogwarts in the midst of terrible events that plague England. Elected captain of the Quidditch team, training, examinations and the girls spend all their time, but the peace is short lived. Despite the tight controls that protect the safety school, two students are brutally attacked.

Dumbledore knows that the time is approaching, heralded by prophecy, that Harry and Voldemort will face death: “The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches … One of the two must die at the hands of the other for any the two can live while the other alive. “The old director should seek the help of Harry and together they undertake hazardous journeys to try to weaken the enemy, for which the boy wizard will have the help of an old Potions book belonging to a mysterious prince, someone who calls himself Prince.

Fun Facts
A lot of rumors claimed that the sixth book is titled “The Pillar of Storgé” or “The Green Flame Torch.” JK Rowling was bored denied these rumors and tired.

The Muggle Prime Minister mentioned in the third book in the series, which appears in the sixth, coincides with the real prime minister who ruled during the chronological period in establishing the Harry Potter (1991-1997): John Major.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book published in the saga of Harry Potter. It was published by Bloomsbury in June 2003 under the name of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
